By downloading, installing, or using TarotLingo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our App.
TarotLingo is a tarot learning and practice application. The App provides educational content about tarot cards, interactive quizzes, tarot spreads, AI-powered reading interpretations, a reading journal, and related features. Some features require a paid subscription.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use our services and agree to these Terms.
TarotLingo is for entertainment and educational purposes only. All tarot readings, interpretations, and AI-generated content are provided for personal reflection and learning about tarot traditions.
The App does not provide professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship advice. Tarot readings should not be used as a substitute for professional consultation.
You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on content from the App. We encourage you to use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for important life decisions.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update your information as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Some features of the App require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not directly process payments or issue refunds—all billing is handled by the App Store.
You retain ownership of content you create within the App, such as personal notes, journal entries, and custom spreads. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide our services.
You are responsible for any content you create. You agree not to create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by TarotLingo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without our express written permission.
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate tarot interpretations and other content. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation. You acknowledge that AI interpretations are computer-generated and should be used for entertainment and reflection only.
We strive to keep the App available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions or changes.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAROTLINGO AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TarotLingo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and revising the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time through the app settings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
