About this policy

Numin Labs, LLC ("TarotLingo," "we," or "us") provides the TarotLingo iOS and Android apps, tarotlingo.com, and related services. This policy explains our handling of personal information. Contact hi@tarotlingo.com with questions or requests.

What we collect and why

Depending on the features you use, we collect:

• Account and content information: name, email, account identifiers, optional profile details such as birthday and referral source, reading questions and conversations, selected cards, saved readings, notes, custom spreads, photos submitted for scanning, learning progress, and preferences.
• Purchase information: transactions, products, and subscription status. App-store payments are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full payment-card number.
• Usage and support information: device/browser details, IP address, approximate location, identifiers, interactions, error/crash logs, and support messages or attachments. Analytics may be linked to your account, and diagnostic logs may include request content.

We use information to provide and personalize features, synchronize content, manage purchases, provide support, improve the service, measure marketing, deliver requested notifications, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Information may be stored on your device and with cloud providers.

AI and information sharing

Third-party AI providers receive reading questions, cards, spread details, and relevant written conversation history to generate interpretations. AI routing and image-recognition providers receive submitted photos to identify cards. Processing occurs outside your device, and providers may retain inputs and outputs for operational, security, or legal purposes even if you do not save a reading. Avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information. Photo scanning is optional; you can enter cards manually or draw digitally.

We also share relevant information with providers for accounts and cloud infrastructure, analytics and diagnostics, notifications, subscriptions and paywalls, and support. Subscription providers receive email, account identifiers, and purchase information to manage access.

We may disclose information for legal requirements, rights or safety, or a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Recipients of content you choose to share may keep copies.

Analytics and advertising

Both apps use analytics and crash reporting. iOS also shares relevant identifiers, app events, and purchase/trial information with advertising networks and attribution providers for marketing measurement; these additional integrations are not included in the Android version covered here. Website analytics use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and interactions.

These advertising disclosures may qualify as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable law. Email hi@tarotlingo.com to exercise applicable opt-out rights. Available device and browser controls include iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Restricting tracking does not necessarily stop all analytics or essential processing.

Retention and your choices

Retention depends on the information's purpose, including account access, troubleshooting, support, security, disputes, and required financial records. Provider storage, backups, and legal retention may differ from active account storage.

Request account deletion through Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account or hi@tarotlingo.com. We delete your account and associated data subject to the timing and limited retention described on our deletion page. Individual saved readings and custom spreads can also be deleted. Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions; cancel through the billing store.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, processing restrictions, advertising opt-outs, or an appeal; object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a privacy regulator. Email us to exercise these rights. Identity verification and legal exceptions may apply. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for doing so.

International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Contact us about applicable transfer safeguards.

Where EEA/UK law applies, our processing bases are contract performance for requested services, legitimate interests for proportionate improvement and security, consent where required, and legal obligations for required records. You may object to legitimate-interest processing and withdraw consent for future processing without affecting prior lawful processing.

Children, security, and changes

TarotLingo is not intended for children under 13; higher local age or parental-permission requirements may apply. Contact us about information collected contrary to these requirements.

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no system is completely secure. We will date policy updates and provide notice where required. An updated policy does not itself supply consent for new processing.
